Journey tips
1. Start next to the Town Hall (537 Ruthven St). Follow the art beside the Town hall. Walk to Gallery Lane beside the Art Gallery (519 Ruthven). Go down the lane past #1C, #2C and #3C. Head to the long mural of portraits on #4C. Right by there is a fan favourite, the geisha girl (#5C).
2. You will now be facing the City Public Library. You will see the Village Green near Mothercraft Lane, with the steel flower sculpture (#6C) and #8C which is a large sculpture in front of the library. As you head to the front of the library, look to your left and you will see a multi-story mural of a bird with flowers (7C).
3. Head down Gallery Lane to Victoria St and turn right. On the right will be #9C on the side of the building. Continue straight and turn right at Little Street where you will see #10C on the building and #11C on the fence of the Mothercraft Childcare Centre.
4. Continue down Little St to Duggan St, then cross and head to Searles Walk (Ground Up Café) — stop for a coffee or just enjoy the art! Follow Searles Walk to Ruthven St, turn right, and visit the lane beside NAB to see artworks #19C to #21C in the carpark. Continue to Duggan St and cross the road.
5. Walk down Duggan St to Duggan Lane (Grand Central side entrance) to see art on the entrance walls. Continue to Lamb St, cross the road, and go down Lamb St to see the snake mural (#24C). Come out on Margaret St. Spot #25C in the road, then turn left to view the indigenous girl on Grand Central’s wall.
6.Turn back, walk to Dent St, and turn right to see the Cultural Wall. Continue to Herries St and turn right. Go to the corner of Herries and Victoria to see #35C, then cross the road and turn right toward Water St for the final artwork.
